湖のまんなかに
小さな島がぽつんと浮かんでいる

手前の岩を越えて
その静かな場所へと視線が導かれる

そこに立つふたつのかたちは
何かを見つめるように
ただ静かに佇んでいる

それは物語のはじまりのようで
どこか遠い記憶にも似ている

A Small Island Floating on the Lake

In the middle of the lake
a small island rests alone

Beyond the rocks in the foreground
the eye is gently led toward its quiet center

Two forms stand there
as if watching something unseen
remaining still in silence

It feels like the beginning of a story
and also like a distant memory

花のアーチをくぐると
どこか少しだけ違う世界がひらく

やわらかな春の光の中で
美しさと違和感が静かに重なっている

それは遠い記憶のようで
まだ知らない物語の入口でもある

A Spring Fairy Tale

Passing beneath the arch of flowers
a slightly different world begins to open

In the gentle light of spring
beauty and unease quietly overlap

It feels like a distant memory
and the entrance to an unknown story

山の奥で、
その流れは静かに息を潜めていました。

木々の隙間を縫うように
音もなく、ただそこに在ります

それは水でありながら
どこか生き物のように
気配だけを残して動いていました

A Hidden Current

Deep in the mountains
the current lay still as if holding its breath.

It slipped between the trees
soundless yet undeniably there

Though it is water
it moves like a living thing
leaving only its presence behind

夕暮れの光が落ちていく中、
その木は静かに立っていました

枯れているはずなのに
残された光をまとい
まだそこに在り続けているように見えます

形は薄れていきながらも
気配だけが静かに残っていました

私はその瞬間を、そっと描きとめました

As the evening light faded
the tree stood quietly

Though it should have been dead
it held the last light
as if it were still there

Its form began to fade
yet its presence remained

I painted that quiet moment

山の中の道で、
雨が降りそうで降らない曇り空の下、
私は急なカーブを通り過ぎていました。

その先にどんな景色が広がっているのか、
まだ見えないその瞬間には、
不安と期待が同時にありました。

その感情を手がかりに、
次の景色に出会う直前の記憶として、
この風景を描いています。

On a mountain road,
under a sky that threatened rain but held it back,
I passed through a sharp curve.

In that moment,
I did not know what lay beyond—
and that uncertainty carried both fear and anticipation.

Holding onto that feeling,
I painted this landscape
as a memory of the moment just before seeing what comes next.

Ancient Blossoms
(古の花、いにしえのはな)

庭園の奥で、
木々は脳のようにうねり、
枝垂れ桜は静かに垂れていました。

その花は、美しく、
そしてどこか不気味で、
物語の中から抜け出してきたようでした。

古い時間を抱えた花。
私はその奇妙な魅力に導かれ、
この曲がり角の風景を描いています。

Ancient Blossoms

Deep within the garden,
the trees twisted like a brain,
and the weeping cherry blossoms hung in silence.

The flowers were beautiful,
yet carried something unsettling,
as if they had stepped out of a story.

Blossoms that hold ancient time.
Drawn by their strange allure,
I painted this winding corner of the landscape.

Hidden Stream（隠された流れ）

車窓から覗く山道には、
いつも何かが隠されていました。

小川のきらめき、
桜の影、紅葉のざわめき。
鷺、地蔵、祠、苔、
名も知らない動物たちの気配。

それらは、
車に揺られながら見る一瞬の世界。
触れることも、立ち止まることもできず、
すべては流れるように過ぎ去っていきました。

けれど確かに、
あの道には時間が溜まり、
記憶が静かに流れていました。
私はその隠された流れを、
もう一度、絵の中に呼び戻しています。

Hidden Stream

Along the mountain road seen through the car window,
there was always something hidden.

The shimmer of a small stream,
the shadow of cherry blossoms, the rustle of autumn leaves.
Herons, stone statues, small shrines, moss,
the presence of animals whose names I never knew.

All of it belonged to a fleeting world,
seen while swaying in the car.
I could not touch it,
nor could I stop—
everything flowed past in an instant.
